CF Martin 000028H
Formerly this shape guitar was known as the M36 and the M38, but re-designated 0000 to coordinate with CF Martin's shape prefix (000, D, OM etc.). The 0000 guitars are very rare - only 182 were made. They were not popular in the mass market and were bought mainly by session musicians because although it gives a big sound it is also very subtle and perfect for recording. I bought it new in 1995 and since then I’ve used it on most of the major concerts I've played. The double scratch plate was made and fitted by the British luthier, Ralph Bown in York.
